I stumbled across this great little short film about hand-painted advertisements created by Mother NY and Stella Artois. It’s beautiful, nostalgic, inspiring: everything you’d expect it to be.
Alex Roman has created one of the most awe-inspiring full CGI works that I’ve ever seen. Doesn’t hurt that it features some of the greatest architecture in the world, either. It’s really worth going over to Vimeo and checking it out in fullscreen HD (they won’t let me embed it).
Here’s a really quick way to match a color to an external source (like a paint chip). I used to have to do this a lot when I was doing architectural renderings that were then printed to a large-format Epson 9600.
